Amanda Girton

Amanda Girton’s journey in accounting began at the front desk, where she first joined the profession as a receptionist. After earning her BA in Humanities and her BS in Accounting, her role quickly evolved into a staff accountant position and, ultimately, partner at Magnum Advisors. With over 11 years of experience as an accountant—eight of them as a CPA—Amanda has become a trusted resource for individuals and businesses alike, offering expertise in tax preparation, accounting, and bookkeeping services. Her career reflects a belief in the value of every position, and she’s quick to say, “Don’t discount the importance of a receptionist!”

Amanda genuinely loves preparing tax returns—yes, really! She thrives on finding creative ways to help clients reduce their tax burden and take full advantage of the opportunities available to them.

Outside of work, Amanda enjoys immersing herself in a good book, traveling to new places, and playing percussion in a community band. Though she loves nurturing relationships with her ever-growing nieces and nephews, her attempts at nurturing houseplants have been less successful (RIP, aloe plant).
